Rain today, but sunny and warm for Easter

GETTING WET: Rain is forecast for later today and tomorrow before clearing up for a glorious Easter weekend.

THE rain is coming, with the Bureau of Meteorology predicting and 80 per cent chance of showers today, which could bring up to 8mm to the city.

While today will be fine and partly cloudy, the rain is expected to develop later in the day with isolated thunderstorms possible in the early evening.

Tomorrow will also be damp, with more showers forecast, before the weather fines up for a glorious Easter weekend with temperatures just below 30C.

Friday has a forecast maximum of a sunny 28C, with a sunny 29C tipped for Saturday.
