POLICE are hunting a knife-wielding bandit who held up a Victoria Park deli on Albany Highway, stealing cash from the business.

Detectives from the Regional Investigations Unit need information on the armed robbery, which happened in East Victoria Park on Wednesday March, 6, about 11.30pm.

A man armed with a knife walked into the We Never Sleep Deli on Albany Highway and demanded cash from a male staff member.

Another man remained at the front door of the business as a look-out.

The first offender threatened staff with the knife before taking some money and fleeing with the other man on foot towards Kent Street.

Both offenders are described as olive-skinned, about 185cm tall, between 20 and 30 years of age and of slim to medium build.

Investigators would like to speak to the two men pictured who they believe can assist with their inquiry.
