Anchor Jillian Pavlica broke the biggest story of her life on live television - a marriage proposal from her partner. FOX54

A TELEVISION news anchor realised she was about to receive a wedding proposal when she read some ?Breaking News? from a teleprompter.

"And we do have some breaking news to report to you," said Jillian Pavlica, who anchors at WZDX-WAAY in Alabama, as she was reading from a teleprompter on the news set.

"FOX 54 has just learned that a Huntsville news anchor is being proposed ... on live TV…right now,” 

Jillian Pavlica begins reading the autocue for the breaking news ...  

As she hesitated over the words, her co-anchors left the set, leaving Pavlica on her own.

Her boyfriend Vince then walked up, went down on one knee and asked for her hand in marriage. 

As her co-anchors disappear, she realises who the subject of the breaking story is ...  

"Jillian Pavlica, will you marry me?" he said. 

A clearly emotional Miss Pavlica replies "Yes" before the two kissed.

Fiance Vince appears and goes down an bended knee to pop the question ...  

A date has not been set.
