A TWO-vehicle crash on Roe Highway, Forrestfield, has closed both north-east bound lanes, causing major traffic disruption early today.
The accident took place just before 6.30am, blocking north-eastbound on Roe Highway with traffic diverting down Berkshire Road.
Emergency Services are on site.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time as traffic is busy around the area.

A MAN has escaped with minor injuries after his car left the road and hit a tree near Jarrahdale early today.
The accident happened on Jarrahdale Road near the South Western Highway about 9.30am.
Career and volunteer Fire and Rescue firefighters attended the scene and the RAC Rescue Helicopter was also dispatched, but then diverted when it was revealed the man's injuries were not severe.
In another accident, a woman in her 20s had to be airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital this morning after the car she was driving rolled.
The crash occurred about 9.30am at the intersection of Colbourne Road and Hinkley Road in Walyurin, about 300km southeast of Perth.
Meanwhile, firefighters have also been sent to a car crash on Governor and Rockingham Beach Roads in Rockingham.
The car crashed into a pole about 9.15am, knocking powerlines down and trapping the driver.Police spokeswoman Naomi Smith said the incidents were a reminder for drivers to be careful over the long weekend.
"We've already had one fatal this Easter," Sgt Smith said. "take care."

The man died and a passenger was injured when the car and caravan they were towing rolled over about 11am at Green Range, east of Albany, about 400km south of Perth, on South Coast Highway.

A 23-year-old man died last night in a crash on Old Coast Road in Myalup, between Mandurah and Bunbury. about 170km south of Perth.
WA’s road toll has climbed to 40 following latest fatality.
The total is the same as this time last year, but follows a tragic start to the year.
In January, WA was almost averaging on death a day from crashes.
By the end of February, 35 people had died on the roads, compared to 27 by the end of February in 2012.
So far this year, 22 people have been killed in the metropolitan area and 18 in the country.
Most of those killed have been male drivers.
Critical injuries due to crashes are, however, down slightly compared to March 25, 2012.
So far 44 people have been critically injured on the roads, compared to 48 this time last year.
Heavy overnight rainfall has also caused traffic havoc this morning.
A multiple vehicle crash on Hepburn Avenue in Kingsley has congested the intersection near Kingsley Drive.
The four-car crash occurred about 8.30am.
St John Ambulance has also been asked to attend a crash in Joondalup where a woman is reportedly injured after a two-car crash on Mitchell Freeway.
Paramedics have also been sent to a car and bus collision on Beach Road in Carine.
A crash on Tonkin Highway this morning at Mills Road East in Martin blocked one lane of the highway.
A car hit a light pole, and the male driver was been injured, with emergency services clearing the scene by 8.50am.

AN inquiry into a helicopter crash that killed a pilot in a remote Kimberley gorge has found he fatally blundered by clipping an overhanging rock while taking a solo sightseeing flight.
Angus ``Gus'' Mundell, 40, was flying the Robinson R22 Beta chopper near the Louisa Downs property, a cattle station about 115km south-west of Halls Creek, when it plunged into water at the base of the gorge in October.
Mr Mundell had been working for his brother-in-law Milton Jones, the central identity in reality TV show Keeping up with the Joneses.
An Australian Transport Safety Bureau investigation concluded Mr Mundell, who was based in the Northern Territory but living at the nearby Larrawa station at the time of the crash, was not familiar with the gorge when he flew in - and clipped the side of the cavern on the way out.
Another helicopter had flown to the gorge, and the pilot of the other chopper and his passenger were swimming when they saw Mr Mundell fly in and hover overhead.
``One of the witnesses recalled hearing two bangs, the second louder than the first, moments after the helicopter had fallen out of view,'' the ATSB report said.
``The swimmers returned to the inner gorge to find the helicopter submerged, on its right side with substantial damage. The pilot was trapped in the wreckage and, despite a number of attempts, could not be extricated.''
Accident investigators concluded once Mr Mundell had flown into the gorge, he had no choice but to try and get out.
``The pilot descended into the gorge without full appreciation of the risks that would be involved in flying out of the gorge,'' the ATSB said.
``Once the helicopter was inside the gorge there was sufficient space to hover and reverse direction, but with nowhere to land and no other exit path, the pilot was committed to climb out through the narrow opening.''

POLICE were forced to abort a chase through the streets of Belmont last night shortly before the car they were chasing slammed into another vehicle.
The unmarked police car was doing patrols in Belmont last night just before 11pm when they noticed a Black Mercedes Benz which had been stolen during a burglary in Albany on Sunday.
Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, however it will be alleged the vehicle failed to stop and officers began to pursue it.
The stolen vehicle drove at high speed and in a dangerous manner forcing the officers to abort the pursuit for safety reasons.
A short time later at the corner of Fisher Street and Alexander Street it will be alleged the stolen car failed to give way to a vehicle and crashed into it causing extensive damage to both cars.
The driver and passenger of the stolen vehicle attempted to flee on foot.
The police Dog Squad was called to the scene where police dog “Rumble” picked up a scent at a unit about 300m from the crash site.
A call was made about releasing the dog into the unit at which point a man, who police will allege was the driver of the stolen car, came out of hiding.
A 27-year-old man from Gnowangerup, about 360km south-east of Perth, has been charged with stealing a motor vehicle, reckless driving and failing to stop.
He will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court today.

A CRASH on Leach Highway westbound in Bull Creek this morning is causing heavy congestion.
The crash involved four cars and occurred just east of Kwinana Freeway.
The left lane is blocked and traffic is heavy and building quickly on approach.
The left lane on the Mitchell Freeway northbound has also been closed this morning, just after the Hutton Street exit ramp, due to overnight flooding.
Drivers should observe road safety signage and to take care through the area.

AN early morning collision between a car and motorbike in Darlington left the rider injured and caused traffic delays on Great Eastern Highway.
The accident happened just after 6am at the intersection of Great Eastern Highway and Bilgoman Road.
It is believed the injured motorcyclist has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
Westbound traffic was reduced to one lane as police and emergency services attended the scene.
Diversions were put in place, however, delays are being experienced and at its worst, traffic was banked back to Hardey Road.
By 7.45am the crash site had been cleared and all lanes were open.
Motorists should allow plenty of extra travel time.

A MOTORBIKE crash in Wattle Grove and a diesel spill in peak hour morning traffic is causing major congestion in Perth's eastern suburbs.
he motorbike crash occurred just prior to Roe Highway and has resulted in the left and middle lanes of Orrong Road East being being blocked.
Emergency services are on the scene.
Traffic is congested on approach to the incident – currently back to Tonkin Highway.
Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes if possible or allow plenty of extra travel time.
A second crash, a collision between a car and truck on nearby Roe Highway, south-westbound between Maida Vale Road and Berkshire Road, Forrestfield, has led to a diesel spill.
DFES are at the scene dealing with the spill.
Traffic is built up more than one kilometre back to Kalamunda Road.

A MOTORBIKE rider is fighting for his life in hospital after colliding with a car in Southern River late yesterday.
Police have launched an internal investigation into the crash because an unmarked police car was in the area at the time.
Police say the unmarked police car was on patrol heading south-east on Garden Street towards Warton Road about 4.40pm when the motorcycle came up behind them at speed.
The unmarked police car activated its lights but not its sirens as the motorbike approached them.
As the bike drove past them it accelerated away.
The officers then lost sight of the bike but as they drove over a crest they saw the rider enter the intersection of Garden Street and Warton Road.
The intersection is controlled by traffic lights.
“At that point in time the motorcycle rider collided with a Volkswagen that was going through the intersection,” a police spokesman said.
He is in a critical condition in hospital.
Police are asking anyone who saw the crash or the motorcycle prior to the collision to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
