A RIDER has been hurt after being thrown from a horse at Leschenault, near Australind in the South West.
The RAC Rescue helicopter was initially sent to the riding accident, about 160km south of Perth, but has since been stood down.
The injured rider has been taken by road ambulance to Bunbury Hospital. It is believed the rider is not seriously injured.
The accident occurred about 10am on Lofthouse Drive, in Leschenault.
